Greetings from Woking. I'm spending most of my summer in Woking, England. Woking was the home of H.G. Wells, author of War of the Worlds. No, I didn't know that before I got here and I won't remember in six months. The picture at the left is one of the aliens Tom Cruise wasn't able to blow up in the movie.
I'm about 30 miles out of London. Last week I went into London on an "off the beaten path" bike tour. I toured with a couple of my buddies, 
Antonio and Tiziana, from here in England. We didn't see a lot of the touristy attractions, but we did visit a 100 year old bagel shop, an fantastic Italian pizza parlor, and an exact replica of the pub where Shakespear first directed his plays.
